Robeson County Homicide Investigation After Body Found Buried in Backyard

Robeson County Homicide Investigators and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation began an investigation last night near Red Springs. Authorities are conducting the investigation at a scene near the 300 block of Lewis McNeil Road, where a body was discovered buried in the backyard of a residence. The body was found after authorities conducted months of interviews. No additional information is currently available but more details are expected to be released today.
