Three Arrests Made in Myrtle Beach Shooting, Fourth Suspect Remains at Large
An update on the shooting in Myrtle Beach over the weekend we told you about yesterday… three people are in custody and one remains at large.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department arrested 20 year old Tai’yuan Ja’rel Jackson of Effingham, South Carolina who is charged with murder, three counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, unlawful carry of a handgun and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
22 year old Li’quan Tyrese Hickson also of Effingham is charged with accessory after fact and two juveniles have also been charged in connection to the shooting, One remains on house arrest but the other is currently wanted by police.
We’ve also learned the identity of the victim… 17 year old DyQuavyon “Quay” Dickens. was killed in the incident. Dickens was a three-sport athlete at South Florence High School where he played football, track and field and basketball. He was a senior and a former homecoming king.
