Four Dead After Multiple Shootings in Florence County

Four people including two minors were killed in four separate shootings over the weekend in Florence County. The first happened early Saturday when 17 year old Early Saturday, Dairyont’ae Shaw was found dead on Pennsylvania Place. His death is being investigated as a homicide. The second shooting also occurred on Saturday when Florence Police arrested Randolph Smith and charged him with murder after he allegedly shot his neighbor identified as Larry Joyner after an argument over running an errand. That shooting happened on Burnwood Drive. The third incident took place yesterday morning on Carver Street. The victim of that shooting was identified as Benjamin Dixon and in the fourth shooting, an 11 year old was killed in Scranton yesterday. Two people were taken into custody in relation to that incident but have yet to be identified.
