NY Shooting Suspect Denied Bond, 4 Victims Still Hospitalized

Yesterday, Frank James was denied bail and did not enter a plea on charges of violating a law that prohibits terrorism and violent attacks on mass transportation. He was arrested on Wednesday after he called in a tip to police on himself and hours earlier, a teen on a trip to the Big Apple saw him, took his picture and called Crime Stoppers as well. As of yesterday, four survivors were still hospitalized and in stable condition according to hospital representatives. Today, Mayor Eric Adams will hold a virtual press conference to thank frontline workers for their handling of the shooting and it’s aftermath. Officials have yet to release a motive for the shooting but have pointed to several Youtube videos in which James shares his views of violence, mass shootings and mental health.
