Multiple People Shot, At Least 13 Injured, Manhunt Underway in New York City

Multiple people were shot at a subway station in Brooklyn this morning… The Fire Department of New York said 13 people were transported to area hospitals and ‘several undetonated devices’ were also found. Authorities were called to the 36th Street subway station in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood for a smoke condition around 8:30 a.m. when they arrived they found the victims and discovered the devices. According to a senior law enforcement official, a preliminary investigation shows that four people were reported shot and a possible smoke device was detonated at the station. Also according to the report, a male perpetrator possibly wearing a gas mask and orange construction vest fled the scene. People in New York City are being asked to avoid the area of 36th Street and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn. The investigation is ongoing.
