Myrtle Beach Suspect Arrested in Connecticut

A suspect wanted for attempted murder in Myrtle Beach was arrested in Middletown, Connecticut. The Middletown Police Department said 30 year old Steven Caldwell was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop. When officers searched his vehicle, they found around 8.2 grams of crack cocaine and other drugs. Caldwell was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating under suspension, traveling unreasonably fast and as a fugitive without warrant. He is being held on a $1.25 million surety bond.
