Four People and Gunman Dead After Shooting Spree in Mississippi Leads to Standoff

Four people were killed during a shooting spree in Mississippi yesterday that also left the gunman dead. Police say the suspect 32 year old Jeremy Reynolds fatally shot three people at a hotel in Biloxi before driving to the nearby city of Gulfport where he allegedly carjacked and shot a man. When officers found Reynolds, he had barricaded himself inside a store until authorities entered to find him deceased from unknown causes. No shots were fired by the suspect or police during the standoff and a small fire was discovered near Reynolds’ body but it’s unknown how it started. Autopsies on Reynolds and the four victims will be performed this week.
