Three Robeson County Detention Officers Charged in Identity Theft Crime
Three Robeson County Detention Officers were arrested yesterday and charged with aiding in an identity theft crime.
40 year old Jackie Hunt of Fairmont, 50 year old Warren Phillips of Lumberton and 51 year old Tina Jones of Pembroke were arrested and charged after they released 42 year old James Hunt of Rowland after he falsely identifying himself as his brother Jackie Hunt after being arrested on March 25th. James was booked into the Robeson County Detention Center and released on bond under the fake name despite knowledge of his real name. James Hunt is currently behind bars on a $95,000 secured bond. Jackie Hunt, Phillips and Jones were each given $500,000 unsecured bonds.
