Steelers Quarterback Dwayne Haskins Dies in Florida After Being Struck By Vehicle

Sad news for Steelers fans… Pittsburgh Quarterback Dwayne Haskins was killed Saturday morning after being struck by a dump truck while walking along an interstate in Florida. Haskins was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 on foot when he was hit by the truck around 6:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene and authorities with the Florida Highway Patrol say it’s unknown why he was walking on the interstate. Haskins was in Florida training with Mitch Trubisky who recently signed a two-year deal with the Steelers last month. This is an open traffic investigation and no further information will be released until the investigation is closed according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Before joining the NFL, Haskins led the Ohio State Buckeyes to a Big Ten Championship and a Rose Bowl win.
