United Nations Security Council, NATO Meetings Continue Today

The United Nations General Assembly is expected to vote today on whether to suspend Russia from the Human Rights Council. The General Assembly will need to vote in favor by two-thirds majority to remove Russia from the council and if the vote is passed, it will decide to suspend the rights of membership in the Human Rights Council of the Russian Federation, a number of countries are expected to speak at the meeting ahead of the vote including representatives from Russia and Ukraine. NATO Foreign Ministers are also meeting in Brussels today to discuss sanctions against Russia and ways to support Ukraine.
