Queen Elizabeth, Royals, Other Dignitaries Attend Memorial for Prince Philip

The Royal family attended a memorial service for Prince Philip today. This marks Queen Elizabeth’s first public appearance in five months. She was escorted into the ceremony by her son Prince Andrew. It also marked his first appearance since he made an undisclosed payment to settle a lawsuit against Virginia Giuffre. Other members of the royal family including William and Kate and their children and other dignitaries were also at the service. Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, passed away at Windsor Castle last April, two months before his 100th birthday. In accordance with Covid-19 protocol, 30 mourners were able to attend his funeral service at the time, the service held today however was much bigger with over 500 in attendance.
