Guided Tours are Back at the Capitol
Before the pandemic, around 3 million people visited the capitol every year.
After a two year hiatus, Capitol Hill is back open today. The U.S. cCpitol building has been shut down to the public for two years because of covid-19 but now, some public tours will start back up. A notice sent to members and staff says there will be a limited number of member-led, staff-led and school group tours allowed in. Up to 15 people will be permitted for each group who will be led by lawmakers or their aides plus, a health screening form for all visitors is recommended. Before the pandemic, around 3 million people visited the capitol every year.
