Phil Predicts Six More Weeks of Winter

There’s disappointing news out of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania as Phil the groundhog made his annual prediction this morning. Thousands lined up early to wait for the furry weatherman. Since 18-87, Phil has seen his shadow on 103 occasions while forecasting an early spring just 18 times. Phil isn’t always accurate though, he was wrong last year when he predicted six more weeks of winter, while both February and March ended up warmer than average across the nation.
