Say Hello to the New Gen Z Slang!

If you were born between 1965-1980, it may be time to update your rocking vocab to something more lit.

If you were born between 1965-1980 (Gen X) it may be time to update your vocab.  If you want to be “jiggy.”  Actually you probably shouldn’t use that phrase anymore.  A freelance journalist David Hochman has done some light-hearted research on Gen X phrases and the outdated ones that are replaced by new Gen Z slang.  First off, we no longer tape our favorite shows. it’s called filming.  Recording is still acceptable as long as it’s not a reference to VHS tapes.  We are no longer “keeping it real” either.  Now it’s,  “Keeping it 100.”   No more “Totally.”  Instead go with a cool, “Bet”!   And instead of  “That rocks, say, “that’s lit.”
