Fifth Suspect Arrested In Connection To Florence Kidnapping, Assault

The victim was "forcibly removed" from his vehicle, assaulted, and forced to sign over possession of a pickup truck.

A fifth arrest has been made in connection to a kidnapping case out of Florence County.

On February 26, a victim was lured to a location on North Jones Road in the Olanta area. There, he was “forcibly removed” from his vehicle, assaulted, and forced to sign over possession of a Ford F-350 pickup truck, which is valued at around $5,000.

Previously, police arrested Jessica Ford, James Lynch III, Johnny Love Jr., and Robert Causby Jr. in connection to the incident.

Recently, 44-year-old Christopher Kennison was also arrested. He was charged with kidnapping, grand larceny, blackmail-extortion, first-degree assault and battery, as well as criminal conspiracy.

Ford, Love, and Causby are being held without bond. Lynch was released on a $60,000 bond and Kennison is awaiting a bond hearing.
