Third Suspect Arrested In Connection To Florence Kidnapping Case
The victim was forced under a deadly threat to sign over possession of a Ford pickup truck.
A third suspect has been arrested in connection to a kidnapping case out of Florence County.
On February 26, a victim was reportedly lured to a location on North Jones Road in Olanta when several suspects removed him from his vehicle and assaulted him.
The victim was then forced under a deadly threat to sign over possession of a Ford pickup truck. They had to seek medical treatment following the assault.
On March 2, investigators arrested Johnny Love Jr. and Robert Causby Jr.. On Thursday, James Lynch III was also arrested.
Each suspect faces charges of kidnapping, first-degree assault and battery, blackmail, grand larceny, and criminal conspiracy.
Love and Causby are being held without bond while Lynch was released the same day of his arrest on a $60,000 bond.
