Crash in Florence Resulted in 4 Deaths and 1 Injured

Four people died and one was injured Saturday night as a result of a crash involving a train in downtown Florence. Around 8:40 p-m, the vehicle was traveling at a high speed and attempted to go around the crossing arms of the tracks. The vehicle crashed into the train on the track at the time that was at a standstill, which caused the vehicle to burst into flames. Coroner Keith Von Lutcken identified the victims as Mitchell Carter II, Jeneka Carter, Antoine Hines, and Ruby Taylor.
