CCU Breaks Ground On New Academic Building

The 85,000-square-foot Health and Human Performance Building will expand health care training while preparing students for jobs.

Coastal Carolina University broke ground on a new academic building in Conway.

The 85,000-square-foot Health and Human Performance Building will expand health care training while preparing students for jobs in the growing region.

The building will bring nursing, health sciences, exercise and sport science as well as public health and ROTC programs all under one roof.

The project costs an estimated $75 million and will include classrooms, labs, and clinical spaces. It is expected to open in fall of 2028.
