Major Robeson County Drug Dealer Arrested
A man considered to be a major drug dealer in Robeson County has been arrested. Fairmont Police Chief Jon Edwards confirmed officers were performing a search warrant at the home of Charlton Townsend near Fairmont when authorities took him into custody. Townsend faces a number of charges including trafficking opioids, trafficking cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen firearm and more. He’s currently behind bars at the Robeson County Detention Facility under a $1.5 million secured bond.
