The Murrells Inlet Boat Parade will return this year! After being cancelled due to COVID last year, this will mark the 38th year that the annual July 4th parade takes place. The event will begin at 3 p.m. at the point of Garden City Beach and then participants will make their way through Murrells Inlet. If you’d like to put your boat in the parade, there is no fee and according to organizers, there will be no awards given this year. Participants and spectators are asked not to decorate with balloons and other items that could potentially pollute the water and be harmful to wildlife and the environment.
