Horry Co. Police Investigating Bomb Threats Made To Two Schools
The person or device responsible is still unknown but police are actively working to reveal the source.
Two bomb threats were made to two Horry County Schools over the past week.
Calls were made to Conway High School and North Myrtle Beach High School. The bomb threats prompted lockdowns as the Horry County Police Department took immediate action.
Authorities discovered that both calls were hoaxes and turned out to be electronically generated. The person or device responsible is still unknown but police are actively working to reveal the source. The Conway Police Department is also assisting.
Two years ago, Carolina Forest High School received multiple bomb threats. All of which were false, but an investigation led to a Louisiana teen being charged. They received probation after pleading guilty.
