Woman Arrested After Shots Fired At Florence Apartment Complex

Early Thursday, officers responded to the Mt. Zion apartments near S. Church Street on reports of shots fired.

One woman has been arrested in connection to a shooting at an apartment complex in Florence County.

Early Thursday, officers responded to the Mt. Zion apartments near S. Church Street on reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, 20-year-old Ashlea Dunlap was witnessed running from the apartments. She was detained following a short pursuit.

Dunlap is accused of getting into a dispute and firing a gun at a person, but the person was not struck. The gun was recovered at the scene. She has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated breach of peace, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Further details were not immediately available.
