Operation Register Watch Leads To Multiple Arrests In Robeson Co.

The operation involved the Robeson Co. Sheriff's Office, U.S. Marshals Service, and North Carolina Department of Adult Correction.

Several people have been arrested in connection to a multi-agency operation targeting sex-offender registry violations in Robeson County.

Operation Register Watch involved the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service, and North Carolina Department of Adult Correction.

The operation focused on verifying the residences and registration information of registered sex offenders and investigating suspected violations of registration requirements and other laws.

Investigators conducted 37 searches, located one absconder, and verified the residences of 170 registered sex offenders.

The investigation led to 18 arrests, with five people wanted involving 31 counts of failure to register and more.
