Another Arrest Made Following A Fatal Shooting In Robeson Co.

Ronnie Scott was found deceased after suffering several gunshot wounds. A woman was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to a hospital.

Another arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting out of Robeson County.

The shooting unfolded on Sept. 17 in the area of Main and Pine streets. Ronnie Scott was found deceased after suffering several gunshot wounds. Saqua Locklear was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to a hospital. Her current condition is unknown.

India Walters, Scott’s former girlfriend, was arrested soon after and charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder. Further investigation led to the recent arrest of Jamal McRae. He is charged with felony conspiracy to commit murder and felony conspiracy to commit attempted murder. The investigation remains ongoing.
