Florence-Darlington Technical College President Resigns

Dr. Jermaine Ford took on the role in 2021 as the college's fifth president.

The Florence-Darlington Technical College president has resigned from his position.

Dr. Jermaine Ford took on the role in 2021 as the college’s fifth president. He replaced Dr. Ben Dillard, who resigned and retired in 2018.

The area commission held a specially called meeting last week to discuss personnel and contractual items regarding Ford.

The commission has since reportedly accepted Ford’s resignation but a specific reason was not announced. It is unclear at this time who the interim president will be.
