Jamie Komoroski Sentenced After Pleading Guilty

The bride was killed and the groom suffered extreme injuries leading to hospitalization. The other two passengers also suffered injuries.

Jamie Komoroski has been sentenced after pleading guilty to the charges she faced.

Last April, the now 27-year-old was driving along a Folly Beach road speeding at 65mph in a 25-zone. She was also intoxicated over three times the legal limit when she crashed into a golf cart.

On board were newlyweds, Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson, along with two others.

The bride was killed and the groom suffered extreme injuries leading to hospitalization. The other two passengers also suffered injuries.

Komoroski admitted to being responsible and was sentenced to 10-years for the charge of reckless homicide, 15-years for two felony DUI charges with injury, and 25-years for the charge of felony DUI with death.

The judge ordered she will receive jail credit for time served, including house arrest. Her sentence is set to run concurrently.
