SpaceX Delays Launch Of Unique Mission

SpaceX has once again delayed the launch of a unique mission.

‘Polaris Dawn’ was scheduled to take off early Wednesday morning from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. However, the launch was delayed due to the prediction of bad off-shore weather where the crew capsule is expected to land at the end of the flight.

The launch is now set to take place on Friday, weather permitting.

Polaris Dawn will see a four-man crew reach record high altitude for an earth-orbit mission, which will travel 870 miles out into the radiation belt. The mission is also expected to include a space walk.
