Study Says Eating Refined Carbs Makes You Unattractive Within Two Hours

A study in France found refined carbohydrates make us noticeably less attractive within two hours of eating them. That includes things like donuts, bagels, pancakes, muffins, white bread, and sugary cereals. Researchers had volunteers rate how attractive people’s faces were before and after they had breakfast. Some ate “healthy” foods, and others ate things that were carb-heavy. The people who ate carbs were seen as significantly less attractive two hours later. They’re not sure why, but it was true for men and women.
