More Products Added to Peanut Butter Recall List

The initial recall happened in May and since then, multiple other products have been added.

The FDA has issued more recalls in relation to salmonella found in JIF peanut butter products. The initial recall happened in May and since then, multiple other products such as protein powder, baked goods and more have been added to a list of items that consumers should avoid. 18 other companies have issued their own recalls due to the salmonella infection risk. The maker of JIF is projecting the company will lose about $125 million dollars after select products have sickened at least sixteen people in a dozen states.
