Horry Co. Crash Involving Motorcycle Claims Life Of One Person

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 21-year-old Gavan Goodman of Murrells Inlet. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A crash involving a motorcycle in Horry County claimed the life of one person.

The accident happened around 3pm Wednesday near Dodge Lane along Highway 501. A motorcycle collided with a Toyota Tundra as it was pulling out of Sparks Toyota.

The driver of the bike was identified as 21-year-old Gavan Goodman of Murrells Inlet. He was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering blunt traumatic injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
