Freedom 250 Opens Registration For America’s 250th Anniversary Events

Freedom 250 has opened registration for a handful of nationwide events that aim to celebrate America’s 250 anniversary.
Ticketing portals are now available for its signature events. They are set to take place at locations across the country, with a main focus on the nation’s capital.
The events kick off June 11 with a FIFA World Cup 2026 Fan Zone experience on the National Mall. That will run through July 19. It will include live match broadcasts, food, activities, entertainment, and more tied to the international soccer tournament.
On June 24, a kickoff celebration for the Great American State Fair is set to take place. That evening event will feature military flyovers, performances from U.S. Armed Forces bands and musical artists. It will also feature remarks from President Trump to formally launch the fair.
The fair will run from June 25 through July 10 on the National Mall. There will be 150 exhibits representing states, territories, businesses and civic organizations. The fair will also include cultural programming and family-friendly attractions.
On July 1, there will be a celebration in Medora, North Dakota. It will highlight the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt. A separate event will be held at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, which is planned for July 3, featuring military honors and fireworks.
On July 4, New York Harbor will host a “once-in-a-lifetime” maritime and aviation display. That will include an international naval review and an aerial showcase. It will also have a parade of tall ships representing over 20 nations.
Fourth of July celebrations will culminate with “Salute to America,” a large-scale Independence Day event on the National Mall. The celebration will include a parade, military demonstrations, tributes to service members and a firework display over the capital.
Freedom 250 announced that all of the events are designed to commemorate the nation’s founding. They will also showcase its culture and achievements, and encourage civic engagement ahead of the 250th anniversary of independence. The initiative is also meant to highlight both the country’s history and its future.
