There’s been a new rule change in Canada, where “Millions more Americans” might qualify for dual Canadian citizenship right now. Previously, Canadian citizenship-by-descent could only be passed down one generation, from parent to child…but now, you could qualify if you show that you have a canadian grandparent, great-grandparent, or an even more distant canadian ancestor.

If this is you, it means that you’re a Canadian now…although you’ll have to provide documentation to get it certified and the proof of citizenship application fee is just $75.
