Carver Elementary Magnet School Among Finalists For Palmetto’s Finest Award

The committee will review all finalists a second time before announcing the winners in April.

A Florence County school is among 13 finalists for the prestigious Palmetto’s Finest Award.

Carver Elementary Magnet School was announced as a finalist by the S.C. Association of School Administrators. In order to be considered for the award, schools “submit a 22-page, detailed application, sharing insight into areas such as school culture, student achievement, and instructional programs that they offer.”

Schools must also submit an application that receives an on-site evaluation from Palmetto’s Finest Committee. The committee will review all finalists a second time before announcing the winners in April. Carver Elementary was also a finalist in 2023.
