Ex-Trump Campaign Manager Will Not Testify Today

Another prominent republican will appear, conservative election attorney Ben Ginsberg.

Former Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien will not testify before today’s January 6th House Select Committee hearing.
He was on the schedule, but said a family emergency prevented him from appearing. A source says his wife went into labor, leading the committee to release him from his subpoena for the day. Instead, the committee will use video clips from previous interviews with Stepien. Another prominent republican will appear, conservative election attorney Ben Ginsberg, an expert on election fraud. Ginsberg is expected to testify that there was no evidence of widespread fraud in 2020, despite false claims by former President Trump. The republican election attorney will also speak about the failed court challenges filed by Trump’s team. Other witnesses expected today are a former digital politics editor at Fox News, a former U.S. attorney from Georgia and a former Philadelphia city commissioner.
