Thousands Receive False Positive Covid-19 Test Results in North Carolina

Almost seven thousand North Carolinians recently received false positive Covid-19 tests. The mistake occurred after text messages and emails were sent out to residents of Mecklenburg County incorrectly stating they had contracted the virus. The county claims the messages were sent out in error as a result of a technical glitch caused by the Canadian-based data software they use.

Two More Men Arrested in Relation to 2015 North Carolina Homicide

Two more arrests have been made in connection to a 2015 Robeson County homicide. 43-year-old Ismul Hines from Charlotte, and 26-year-old Kenneth McCoy of Laurinburg are now facing murder, among other charges, in the death of 51-year-old Rodney Murphy.
