People are giving new meaning to the term BYOB! Raising a virtual glass is taking off as people are discouraged from gathering in large groups. Friends and co-workers are instead turning to video chat happy hours to socialize and take a break from nonstop news. Folks say it helps give them a breather while they talk about other things.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….again! To spread some joy, people around the country are putting their holiday lights back up! the idea is that the twinkling, colorful lights will lift spirits. It doubles as a social distancing activity as people can admire the lights from the safety of their own homes or cars.
The Hallmark channel is stepping up to help provide some cheerful entertainment. A special Christmas movie marathon is scheduled for this weekend.
