President Biden’s State of the Union Address
President Biden made his State of the Union address last night. During the speech he took time to acknowledge the war in the Ukraine, and sent a message to Russia by slamming President Vladimir Putin for starting a “premeditated and unprovoked war.” The president also acknowledged inflation concerns, spoke on the Infrastructure Law passed last year and addressed the spike in crime as well as called for new gun laws among many other topics. Bipartisan support for the Ukraine was shown in many ways last night including a number of Congress men and women wearing the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
