Two of the Top Prosecutors for Manhattan DA’s Office Investigating Trump Probe Resign

Two of the top prosecutors working on the Manhattan DA’s criminal investigation into the Trump Organization resigned yesterday. Carey Dunne and Mark Pomerantz submitted their resignations to the DA’s office according to Danielle Filson a spokesperson for the office. Filson added ‘The investigation is ongoing. We can’t comment further.’ The resignations come as the new Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, indicated to them that he ‘had doubts about moving forward with a case against former President Trump.’ The investigation however will move forward.
