Body of Man Recovered from Little Pee Dee River Identified

An update on the body that was recovered from the Little Pee Dee River last week. The man who fell out of his boat near Conway was identified as 73 year old Harless Floyd of Loris. Floyd died in the incident south of Punchbowl Landing according to Deputy Horry County Coroner Michelle McSpadden. Floyd’s body was recovered on Thursday after Horry County Fire Rescue crews were called to the scene on reports of an overturned boat. He had been missing since Tuesday. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating and no other details are available.
