House of Representatives to Vote on Short-Term Funding Bill to Avoid Shutdown
The House of Representatives is expected to vote today on a short-term government funding bill to avert a shutdown at the end of the week. Funding is currently set to expire on February 18th but the bill the House is set to vote on today would extend funding through March 11th. Once the House passes the bill it will move to the Senate and they would need to approve it before it can be sent to President Biden’s desk.
