Serious Injuries Reported After Crash Between a Car and Bicycle in Loris

Horry County Fire Rescue crews were called to the scene of a crash between a car and a bicycle in Loris early this morning. Crews were sent to the area of Red Bluff Road and Silver Sand Drive at around 5:40 am. Lanes of traffic were blocked and the roadway was shut down for an extended period of time. According to HCFR, serious injuries were reported. The Loris Fire Department also assisted at the scene and the South Carolina Department of Public Safety is investigating.
