Former SC Police Chief Pleads Guilty to Robbing Bank
A former South Carolina Police Chief will be spending some time on the other side of the bars. According to 15th circuit solicitor Jimmy Richardson yesterday, 52 year old Richard Inman plead guilty to robbing a bank in the Pawleys Island area. According to the solicitor’s office, Inman was sentenced to 15 years suspended upon serving 5 years in prison followed by 5 years of probation. On March 22nd, Inman robbed a bank by saying he was armed and demanding money. Inman was the chief of the Williamston Police Department until he left in 2011.
