One Charged in Connection With Deadly Shooting in Robeson County
One person has been charged in connection to a deadly shooting in Robeson County yesterday. According to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area of Highway 72 west in Pembroke for reports of one person shot around 2:12 a.m. When they arrived they found 44 year old Robert Hunt dead at the scene. Investigators say a fight happened between the victim and the suspect, 36 year old Patrick Locklear while at Hunt’s home. During the altercation, Hunt was shot. Locklear was charged with second-degree murder and is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
