City of Conway Votes on Mask Requirement

The city of Conway voted last night to require masks inside of city buildings, except for the rec center. As Covid numbers continue to spread, council members passed the motion in a 4-2 vote. Masks will now be required in any city building but not inside the city’s recreation center. Mayor Barbara Blain-Bellamy voted in favor of the motion. She said “it’s time to be the leaders we say we are and set some examples.” The new requirement is effective immediately.
