He refuses to resign.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been found guilty of sexually harassing multiple women, including employees in his office, and violating state and federal laws. The New York Attorney General, Letitia James, made the announcement earlier today after Cuomo was grilled for 11-hours on the allegations. He was under oath while being questioned about his treatment of women by two investigators. Cuomo denied any wrongdoing, but he did apologize if some interactions with female aides were, “insensitive or too personal.” James’ office began an official investigation into multiple allegations in March. The investigation revealed that Cuomo sexually harassed current and former state employees plus, his team retaliated against a former employee for coming forward about her experience. The democratic Governor has said repeatedly he will not resign, despite calls for him to step down.
