Authorities Investigating Death in Horry County

Authorities are investigating after an unidentified woman was found floating in the waterway area of Jack Circle Toad just off of Little River Neck Road yesterday afternoon. According to deputy coroner Tamara Willard, officials were called to the scene yesterday around 12:45 p.m. The woman is around 65 to 75 years old. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday at MUSC and an investigation is still ongoing. Further information will be released at a later time.
