The ‘Salute from the Shore’ Will be Back for it’s 12th Year on July 4th

On Sunday, the ‘Salute from the Shore’ will be back for it’s 12th year. The annual fly over features military planes from both Shaw Air Force and Joint Base Charleston. In addition to those planes, vintage and civilian owned planes will also fly down the coastline. The flyover is expected to cross the North Carolina and South Carolina border around 1 p.m. Other events planned throughout the weekend include fireworks at Broadway at the Beach, Conway, Barefoot Landing and the Murrells Inlet boat parade.
