Senator Lindsey Graham Pushing for Funding to Construct a Highway to Connect I-95 to Myrtle Beach

Senator Lindsey Graham is pushing for federal funding to finally construct a new highway in South Carolina which will connect I-95 to Myrtle Beach. According to reports he’s requesting $12 million to revive the Interstate 73 project that’s been delayed for decades. Graham said “I believe it is a critical infrastructure project for the Grand Strand and the state of South Carolina as a whole.” And added “The Grand Strand is a cash cow for the state, and I am determined to help provide a better means of transportation for those traveling to and from this tourist destination.”
