Beaufort County Deputy Fired After Taunting Man With Loud Truck

A Beaufort County Deputy has been fired after intentionally driving his loud truck past the home of a man who asked county officials for a noise ordinance. Former Deputy Christopher Capps told an investigator that he was wrong to taunt the man with his truck and should be held to a higher standard as a deputy. After Capps drove by the man’s home, the man chased the truck for more than 6 miles before they were both pulled over by other officers.
