Grand Strand Weekend Community Calendar

A lot of events are happening this weekend!

The annual Conway Riverfest kicks off tomorrow. From 11 am to 10 pm you can enjoy a golf cart parade, kids zone, the food & beer garden, plenty of live music all day long and a fireworks show to end the night! It’s free to enjoy the activities on Elm Street but, for the riverfront park area it costs 5 dollars to enter. You’re encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair if you want to enjoy the bands and fireworks.

A Pop-Up Farmers Market will be open in Murrells Inlet this Sunday. This is the first to be hosted by Waccamaw Market Cooperative and the city of Murrells Inlet. From 1 to 5 pm, local vendors will be set up in the Pet Galley parking lot. Find everything from baked goods to crafts and of course local produce.

Sign the kids up for a BBQ Cupcake Decorating class! This is hosted by the local dessert shop, Homemade is Batter at Studio 4319 in Myrtle Beach. tThere are two class time options, the first from 10 to 11:30 and the second from 12 to 1:30. The class is 45 dollars and includes all materials for the kiddos to decorate 6 cupcakes!
